How Our Recruitment Process Works

1. Initial Recruitment Call

The first stage of our process is an initial call. Here a member of our team will introduce Teach English Global and discuss with you the recruitment service that we offer to schools. We will then discuss in detail your recruitment needs, listening carefully to ensure that we have a full understanding of your school, the vacancies you have, and the specific type of teachers you’re looking to hire.

2. Source Teacher

Following on from our initial recruitment call, if your school would like to use our recruitment services then our team will begin work sourcing teachers for you. We have a variety of trusted recruitment methods that we use to find teachers. These methods will be utilised in order to find the teachers that most closely match the requirements for the vacancies you have, and are therefore the most suitable.

3. Teacher Interview

After sourcing a suitable teacher we’ll then conduct a video interview with them. Here we’ll question the teacher, to validate their suitability for the vacancy at your school. We’ll then discuss the opportunity in detail with them, so to check that it matches up with what they’re looking for. Finally, we’ll make sure that they’re able to obtain all of the documentation required for a work visa.

4. Submit Teacher Application

Once a suitable teacher has been carefully selected, and we are confident that they meet your recruitment criteria, we’ll send you a copy of their CV and a short introductory video. We’ll then be on hand to answer any questions you may have about the teacher. If you would like to interview the teacher, then we’ll introduce you to them and help arrange how and when the interview will take place.

5. Mediate

Following on from your interview, we’ll mediate between both your school and the teacher. If the teacher didn’t pass the interview, then we’ll pass this information onto them, along with feedback. Alternatively, if the teacher was successful, and your school would like to make them an offer, we’ll assist in negotiations between both parties, in order to ensure that everyone is pleased.

6. Aftercare

Once a teacher has accepted an offer from your school, then we’ll provide constant aftercare to both parties. We’ll assist the teacher with the visa process from start to finish so that you don’t have to. We’ll also help mediate between your school and the teacher if any complications arise, and we’ll be on hand to answer any questions the teacher may have before they start teaching at your school.
