Founded in 2007, this teacher agency has been helping both first-time and experienced teachers enter China for over 15 years! Partnered with a variety of international schools, private bilingual schools and kindergartens throughout Hangzhou, this agency will provide you with comprehensive teacher training when you first arrive in China, before you start working at one of their partner schools. They offer a competitive salary and provide accommodation for all of their teachers. Should you want to source your own apartment, then they’ll provide you with a housing allowance to cover your rent instead. This opportunity is ideal for newly qualified teachers without much previous experience, as the teacher training you’ll receive upon arrival will provide you with the skills required to teach at one of their schools. Furthermore, you’ll receive a great deal of ongoing support throughout your entire time in China!

Responsibilities

  • Prepare age-appropriate, well-structured lessons for assigned classes.
  • Understand and meet the requirements and learning outcomes set by the school.
  • Create an engaging and challenging learning environment.
  • Grade work and homework when required, and provide constructive feedback to all students.
  • Co-operate with colleagues when necessary, and contribute to teacher meetings.

Schedule

  • Monday – Friday
  • 8.30 am – 4.30 pm
  • Typical school term schedule

Salary & Benefits

  • Salary – 16,000 – 20,000 RMB per month

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • TEFL certificate
  • Native English speaker – Must hold a passport from AUS, CAN, IRE, NZ, SA, UK or USA
  • Clean criminal record
